My name is Gary Smalling, and I’m the owner of Smalling Masonry LLC. I devoted my life to Christ in 2011, and shortly after I felt Him leading me to start my own company to better serve Him and bring some of His qualities to the trade that He created me for. We are a family-owned and operated Indiana small business. My wife, Jenny, left the healthcare field in 2020 to help run our office, so we may better serve our customers.

My dad was a mason for 45 years until he retired. He owned his own company for 30 years doing residential masonry, and I worked with him for a while right out of high school. I soon went to college and then started in commercial masonry. While I was on the commercial side of things, I took several classes at the International Masonry Institute.

I concentrated my studies on moisture control, structural masonry, and chimney construction and function. And now here I am, ready to serve folks throughout Indianapolis and all of its surrounding areas. At the beginning of 2023, I joined the board of directors on the NCSG to help grow and develop our industry, and I’m currently the only F.I.R.E. Certified Inspector in the state of Indiana.
